Ryerson Consulting Group hires the best and brightest students within the Ted Rogers School of Management. Our alumni have graduated and currently work for some of the most prestigious consulting firms in the world. They attribute much of their professional success to their RCG experience.

Ali Abbas Rawji – Partner

Ali is a 5th year Business Technology Management student at Ted Rogers School of Management.

Ali is currently completing his final co-op term at RBC on the mobile strategy team. He previously completed work terms in technology consulting at CGI and in process engineering at CIBC.

Ali has been selected to represent Ryerson University and placed first at numerous case competitions. He has also held leadership roles on campus, serving as Vice President of Corporate Relations for Ryerson Consulting Association and Lead Student Facilitator for Ryerson Student Services.

His most recent projects with RCG include implementing a client satisfaction survey for a local fitness centre, developing a marketing strategy for a start-up specializing in mobile app development and conducting a policy impact analysis for a department within the school.

In his free time, Ali is a passionate fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and enjoys the occasional Netflix binge.

Alexandra Lincoln – Consultant

Alexandra is a 5th year Business Technology Management student at the Ted Rogers School of Management. She has work experience in public, private and non-profit sectors, assisting companies and agencies including Hydro One, BlackBerry, City of Toronto, and Experient.

Her most recent opportunities include managing the development life cycle of an incident management system, creating market automation to assist in the execution of a company’s marketing strategy, and supporting the supply chain activities of a new eCommerce platform. Previous work has exposed her to various areas of systems and communications development, regulatory compliance, business strategy, hardware administration, and technical support.

At Ryerson, Alexandra is currently the project manager for Ryerson Formula Racing, Ryerson’s largest student car-building design team. She also debates competitively through the Ryerson Speech and Debate Association, and has past experience advocating on behalf of the National Society of Black Engineers, as well as representing Ryerson as a captain of the Ryerson Dragon Boat team.

Rhyan Mahazudin – Consultant

Rhyan is a 4th year Business Technology Management student at Ted Rogers School of Management.

Rhyan worked at Manulife Asset Management for his first co-op term as a Business Analyst in the client reporting department. He was responsible for coordinating small and medium sized projects, some of which include training an offshore team, improving database queries, and automating several manual processes. Rhyan is currently working his 3rd co-op term at Deloitte as an analyst in the technology consulting service line.

Rhyan was previously the Director of Marketing for the Ryerson Co-op Student Association. He has competed and placed in many case competitions, both locally and internationally. He has helped to improve case competition success at TRSM as a founder of the “Case Network”, a structured system providing students with the resources to compete at the highest level.

In his spare time Rhyan loves reading, exercising and playing board games.

Ejaz Aman – Consultant

Ejaz is a 4th Year Business Technology Management student at Ryerson University. His hard work and leadership has ranked him among the top 200 students within the Ted Rogers School of Management.

Ejaz is currently working as a Summer Consultant at IBM, where he is engaged on an SAP Implementation project for a client within the Automotive Industry. Ejaz has previously worked in IT Risk Management at Manulife, and has worked at CGI in their Digital Transformation Consulting practice.

Within TRSM, Ejaz is an active student leader who excels in school and is committed to improving his community through extra-curricular activities. He is currently also working as a Director of Corporate Relations for Ryerson Co-op Student Association, and has previously worked as a Facilitator for the course ITM 100, and as a Startup Consultant at SAGE Canada. Ejaz has also competed and won many case competitions.

In his free time, Ejaz enjoys hiking, watching/playing soccer, and spending time with his family and friends.

Owen Baek – Associate

Owen is a 3rd year Business Technology Management student at Ted Rogers School of Management.

Owen is currently a Digital strategist at CIBC. As a digital strategist, Owen will be focusing on Fintech Acquisitions and CIBC Mobile Implementations.

Owen previously completed a summer internship with Smoothpay as a Quality Assurance Analyst. As a part of the development team, he developed and tested the Android mobile app, also executing bug fixes to improve the overall quality of the mobile product.

In his spare time, Owen enjoys keeping up with the latest news in the English Premier League soccer.

Reyaz Hamid – Associate

Reyaz is a 3rd year Business Technology Management student at the Ted Rogers School of Management.

Over the past two years, Reyaz worked as a Business Analyst for the Ministry of Education’s Data Collection and Decision Making Support Branch where he supported multiple projects and initiatives. Reyaz lead Quality Assurance automation development throughout the branch on their data visualization and storage platform. He also played a critical role in the analysis and integration of key datasets for a new initiative on immigration reform.

The experience gained throughout his work has empowered Reyaz with a thorough understanding of system development, from assessing scope and garnering product buy in to final user acceptance testing.

James Pashutinski – Consultant

James is a 4th year Global Management student at the Ted Rogers School of Management.

As an avid traveler, the insight James applies at RCG has been derived from both local and international experience, which has radically shaped his approach to complex business and IT challenges. He has contributed to both BMO Nesbitt Burns’ Morrissey Group and RBC’s Enterprise Operations & Payments team.

James graduated from Humber College’s Business Administration program in 2016 with numerous awards and scholarships, and formerly represented 30,000 students as Chair of the Humber Students’ Federation. He was later appointed to The Business School’s Program Advisory Committee where he helps improve Humber’s business education by counseling senior administration alongside other industry professionals.

James is a regular volunteer with Nature Conservancy Canada, and has worked closely with United Way Toronto in order to help improve youth engagement in their charitable initiatives.

Ramez Fazelyar – Associate

Ramez is a second year marketing management student at Ted Rogers School of Management.

Ramez previously served as a consultant on the Minister’s Student Advisory council, where he represented over 700,000 students in Ontario and consulted the minister of education on issues pertaining to student success. Currently, as an advisor on the Ontario Education Research Panel, Ramez provides expert advice to the Ministry of Education’s Research and Evaluation Strategy and the Ontario Education Research Symposium. In the past, Ramez has worked with United Way to help increase youth engagement in their initiatives.

At Ryerson, Ramez is the marketing and communications associate for a non-profit startup called Project Welcome. He also mentors incoming first-year students through Ryerson’s Tri-Mentoring program.

On his spare time, Ramez enjoys playing the flute, reading, and practicing calligraphy.

Alicia D’souza – Associate

Alicia is a 2nd year Business Technology Management student at the Ted Rogers School of Management.

Alicia is currently working as a IT Systems Assistant for the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services (MGCS) where she is a part of the Government Services Integration Cluster providing strategic advice and cost-effective technology solutions for MGCS and ministry partners in implementing key business objectives, modernizing government services and creating efficiencies in delivery.

Having been a member at the Royal Canadian Air Cadets for over 5 years, she has gained numerous recognition awards and service medals that has helped her ignite her passion for empowering youth by creating smart and simple strategic goals. Currently, Alicia is Vice President of Corporate Relations at her Student Course Union and an ITM100 Facilitator for the Fall semester.
