Ali Abbas Rawji – Partner

Ali is in his final year of the Business Technology Management program at Ted Rogers School of Management.

Ali has been leading Ryerson Consulting Group as Partner for the past two years. His most recent projects include implementing a client satisfaction survey for a local fitness centre, developing a marketing strategy for a start-up specializing in mobile app development and conducting a policy impact analysis for a department within Ryerson University.

Ali completed his co-op terms at RBC on the mobile strategy team, CGI in the technology consulting practice and CIBC in the process engineering department. Ali has been selected to represent Ryerson University and placed first at numerous international/national case competitions.

In his free time, Ali is a passionate fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and enjoys the occasional Netflix binge.

Rhyan Mahazudin – Partner

Rhyan is a 4th year Business Technology Management student at Ted Rogers School of Management.

Rhyan worked at Manulife Asset Management for his first co-op term as a Business Analyst in the client reporting department. He was responsible for coordinating small and medium sized projects, some of which include training an offshore team, improving database queries, and automating several manual processes. Rhyan recently finished his 3rd co-op term at Deloitte as an analyst in the technology consulting service line working on an insurance transformation project for a major P&C insurance company.

Rhyan was previously the Director of Marketing for the Ryerson Co-op Student Association. He has competed and placed in many case competitions, both locally and internationally. He has helped to improve case competition success at TRSM as a founder of several case workshop initiatives focused on providing students with the resources to compete at an international level.

In his spare time Rhyan loves reading, exercising and playing board games.

Alexandra Lincoln – Consultant

Alexandra is in her final year of Business Technology Management at the Ted Rogers School of Management. She has work experience in public, private and non-profit sectors, assisting companies and agencies including Hydro One, BlackBerry, City of Toronto, and Experient.

Her most recent opportunities include supporting corporate strategy and development with a leading utility, managing the development life cycle of an incident management system, creating market automation to assist in the execution of a company’s marketing strategy, and supporting the supply chain activities of a new eCommerce platform. Previous work has exposed her to various areas of systems and communications development, regulatory compliance, business strategy, hardware administration, and technical support.

At Ryerson, Alexandra is currently the Corporate Sponsorship Lead for Ryerson Formula Racing, Ryerson’s largest student car-building design team. She also facilitates workshops for students to improve their presentation and corporate communication skills. She previously debated competitively through the Ryerson Speech and Debate Association, and has past experience advocating on behalf of the National Society of Black Engineers, as well as representing Ryerson as a captain of the Ryerson Dragon Boat team.

Ejaz Aman – Consultant

Ejaz is a 4th Year Business Technology Management student at Ryerson University. His hard work and leadership has ranked him among the top 200 students within the Ted Rogers School of Management.

This past summer, Ejaz worked as a Consultant at IBM Global Business Services, where he was engaged on an SAP S/4HANA Implementation project for a client within the Automotive Industry. Ejaz has previously worked in IT Risk Management at Manulife, and has worked at CGI in their Management Consulting practice.

Within TRSM, Ejaz is an active student leader who excels in school and is committed to improving his community through extra-curricular activities. He is currently also working as a Director of Corporate Relations for Ryerson Co-op Student Association, and has previously worked as a Facilitator for the course ITM 100, and as a Startup Consultant at SAGE Canada. Ejaz has also competed and won many case competitions.

In his free time, Ejaz enjoys hiking, watching/playing soccer, and traveling.

James Pashutinski – Consultant

James is a 4th year Global Management student at the Ted Rogers School of Management.

As an avid traveler, the insight James applies at RCG has been derived from both local and international experience, which has radically shaped his approach to complex business and IT challenges. He has contributed to both BMO Nesbitt Burns’ Morrissey Group and RBC’s Enterprise Operations & Payments team.

James graduated from Humber College’s Business Administration program in 2016 with numerous awards and scholarships, and formerly represented 30,000 students as Chair of the Humber Students’ Federation. He was later appointed to The Business School’s Program Advisory Committee where he helps improve Humber’s business education by counseling senior administration alongside other industry professionals.

James is a regular volunteer with Nature Conservancy Canada, and has worked closely with United Way Toronto in order to help improve youth engagement in their charitable initiatives.

Reyaz Hamid – Associate

Reyaz is a 3rd year commerce student at Ted Rogers School of Management studying Business Technology Management.

Over the past two years, Reyaz has worked as a Business Analyst for the Ministry of Educations’ Data Collection and Decision Making Support Branch’s Advanced Analytics team, where he has supported multiple projects and initiatives. In this role he was critical in the refining of the integration strategy for developing technical systems which are the backbone for a new initiative on immigration reform. This past summer Reyaz worked as a Program Coordinator, assisting to align strategic technology goals for a recent merger to enable more effective integration. Reyaz is currently working his 2nd co-op term at Deloitte as an analyst in the technology consulting service line

The experience gained throughout his work has empowered Reyaz with a thorough understanding of system development, organizational architecture and user engagement.

Owen Baek – Associate

Owen is a 3rd year Business Technology Management student at Ted Rogers School of Management.

Owen is currently a Digital strategist at CIBC, where he focuses on Fintech Acquisitions and CIBC Mobile Implementations. He has led monthly mobile releases such as the Free Credit Score and Visa FX calculator on the CIBC mobile app.

Owen previously completed a summer internship with Smoothpay as an Android Developer. As part of the development team, he developed and tested the Android mobile app, executing bug fixes to improve the overall quality of the mobile product.

In his spare time, Owen enjoys keeping up with the latest news in the English Premier League.

Ramez Fazelyar – Associate

Ramez is a second year marketing management student at Ted Rogers School of Management.

Ramez previously served as a consultant on the Minister’s Student Advisory council, where he represented over 700,000 students in Ontario and consulted the minister of education on issues pertaining to student success. Currently, as an advisor on the Ontario Education Research Panel, Ramez provides expert advice to the Ministry of Education’s Research and Evaluation Strategy and the Ontario Education Research Symposium. In the past, Ramez has worked with United Way to help increase youth engagement in their initiatives.

At Ryerson, Ramez is the marketing and communications associate for a non-profit startup called Project Welcome. He also mentors incoming first-year students through Ryerson’s Tri-Mentoring program.

In his spare time, Ramez enjoys playing the flute, reading, and practicing calligraphy.

Alicia D’souza – Associate

Alicia is a 2nd year Business Technology Management student at the Ted Rogers School of Management.

Alicia has past experience as an IT Systems Analyst for the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services (MGCS) where she was part of the Government Services Integration Cluster providing strategic advice and cost-effective technology solutions for MGCS and ministry partners in implementing key business objectives, modernizing government services and creating efficiencies in delivery.

Having been a member at the Royal Canadian Air Cadets for over 5 years, she has attained numerous recognition awards and service medals that have helped her ignite her passion for empowering youth by creating smart and simple strategic goals. Currently, Alicia is Vice President of Corporate Relations at her Student Course Union and a course facilitator.
