Rhyan Mahazudin – Partner

Rhyan is a 5th year Bachelor of Commerce student at Ted Rogers School of Management.

Rhyan has worked at Manulife, Deloitte, and TD for his co-op work terms.

He has competed and placed in many case competitions, both nationally and internationally. He has helped to improve case competition success at TRSM as a founder of several case workshop initiatives focused on providing students with the resources to compete at an international level.

In his spare time Rhyan loves reading, exercising and playing board games.

Stefan Denkovski – Consultant

Stefan is a 5th year Biomedical Engineering student at Ryerson University.

Most recently, Stefan has worked at Ryerson University as a Research Assistant. Here he worked on biomedical signal processing, along with developing machine learning algorithms and neural networks in order to create an affective computing algorithm. He has also worked at Scotiabank as a Mortgage Funding Officer where he took leadership roles, helping train new hires and assisted in funding over 1 billion dollars in Mortgages.

At Ryerson, Stefan is a highly motivated and competitive student taking on many tasks and case competitions. Participating in both engineering and business focused case competitions; Stefan is proud of the fact he has never placed outside the top 3 in a case competition. Through his business and engineering background Stefan has been able to develop a unique perspective in many areas.

In his free time Stefan enjoys, photography, reading, sports, automobiles and playing video games.

Ejaz Aman – Consultant

Ejaz is a 4th Year Business Technology Management student at Ryerson University. His hard work and leadership has ranked him among the top 200 students within the Ted Rogers School of Management.

This past summer, Ejaz worked as a Consultant at IBM Global Business Services, where he was engaged on an SAP S/4HANA Implementation project for a client within the Automotive Industry. Ejaz has previously worked in IT Risk Management at Manulife, and has worked at CGI in their Management Consulting practice.

Within TRSM, Ejaz is an active student leader who excels in school and is committed to improving his community through extra-curricular activities. He is currently also working as a Director of Corporate Relations for Ryerson Co-op Student Association, and has previously worked as a Facilitator for the course ITM 100, and as a Startup Consultant at SAGE Canada. Ejaz has also competed and won many case competitions.

In his free time, Ejaz enjoys hiking, watching/playing soccer, and traveling.

Reyaz Hamid – Consultant

Reyaz is a 3rd year commerce student at Ted Rogers School of Management studying Business Technology Management.

Over the past two years, Reyaz has worked as a Business Analyst for the Ministry of Educations’ Data Collection and Decision Making Support Branch’s Advanced Analytics team, where he has supported multiple projects and initiatives. In this role he was critical in the refining of the integration strategy for developing technical systems which are the backbone for a new initiative on immigration reform. This past summer Reyaz worked as a Program Coordinator, assisting to align strategic technology goals for a recent merger to enable more effective integration. Reyaz is currently working his 2nd co-op term at Deloitte as an analyst in the technology consulting service line

The experience gained throughout his work has empowered Reyaz with a thorough understanding of system development, organizational architecture and user engagement.

Owen Baek – Consultant

Owen is a 3rd year Business Technology Management student at Ted Rogers School of Management.

Owen is currently a Digital strategist at CIBC, where he focuses on Fintech Acquisitions and CIBC Mobile Implementations. He has led monthly mobile releases such as the Free Credit Score and Visa FX calculator on the CIBC mobile app.

Owen previously completed a summer internship with Smoothpay as an Android Developer. As part of the development team, he developed and tested the Android mobile app, executing bug fixes to improve the overall quality of the mobile product.

In his spare time, Owen enjoys keeping up with the latest news in the English Premier League.

Ramez Fazelyar – Associate

Ramez is a second year marketing management student at Ted Rogers School of Management.

Ramez previously served as a consultant on the Minister’s Student Advisory council, where he represented over 700,000 students in Ontario and consulted the minister of education on issues pertaining to student success. Currently, as an advisor on the Ontario Education Research Panel, Ramez provides expert advice to the Ministry of Education’s Research and Evaluation Strategy and the Ontario Education Research Symposium. In the past, Ramez has worked with United Way to help increase youth engagement in their initiatives.

At Ryerson, Ramez is the marketing and communications associate for a non-profit startup called Project Welcome. He also mentors incoming first-year students through Ryerson’s Tri-Mentoring program.

In his spare time, Ramez enjoys playing the flute, reading, and practicing calligraphy.

Alicia D’souza – Associate

Alicia is a 3rd year Business Technology Management student at the Ted Rogers School of Management.

Recently, she completed a work term as a Financial Analyst for Microsoft Canada where she contributed to improving current forecasting and budgeting methods and introduced effective ways to investigate data anomalies. Previously, Alicia has interned as a Business Analyst at the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services (MGCS) where she provided cost-effective technology solutions for MGCS and ministry partners.

During the school year, Alicia has competed at many case competitions, which has sparked her interest to learn more about the Non-Profit sector and develop a sound understanding of business problems. Aside from academics, she has been a member at the Royal Canadian Air Cadets for over 5 years, attaining numerous recognition awards and service medals and enjoys travelling often!

Christian Kim – Associate

Christian is a 3rd year Business Technology Management student at Ted Rogers School of Management.

Christian is currently working as a Project Coordinator at CIBC where he plays a critical role in identifying key test objectives and creating the overall feedback strategy for CIBC’s brand new state of the art headquarters, CIBC Square.

Aside from his day-to-day work, he created a marketing campaign for CIBC Square, along with a business pitch as part of CIBC’s SWAT program, where the top 15 summer students are selected and tasked with tackling the biggest problems currently facing the banking industry.

In his spare time, Christian enjoys playing soccer and analyzing sports strategies.

Maria Beauts – Associate

Maria is a 3rd year Business Technology Management student at Ryerson University.

Maria has spent time studying abroad on an exchange program from Ted Rogers School of Management in Sweden. She easily finds a way to talk to everyone she meets. After returning from her exchange she is working closely with RISExC to welcome students from abroad to Ryerson and to help them adapt to Toronto.
She was an intern at M.I.T Consulting in the technology department and has also participated in several app development workshops hosted by Brain Station.

Maria is a currently a team leader for course facilitators in her program, working closely to make sure new entrants into Ryerson get the proper support to transition into their post secondary education. Maria gives back to her community though her volunteering in events and companies such as the PanAm games and the Canadian Blood Donor Clinic.

In her spare time, she enjoys attending opera and ballet shows, and traveling. In her travels she dreams to see all seven wonders of the world.
